Description:

The repeating phrase: “Why should I care?” represents a reverberating disinterest towards emotionally investing oneself or performing emotions to be agreeable with others, especially in an employed labor context. The stamp, as a bureaucratic tool, references environments that include repetitive client-facing work, which routinely ask the worker to superficially or deeply perform enthusiasm and care to meet the needs of others. This phrase may be interpreted as liberating in its lack of outward concern, or emotionally separated as a result of extensive repetition.

Variable Edition Note: Each artwork in this edition is an original, hand-made artwork, made up of unique stamp marks. Each artwork closely follows the design and no two works will appear exactly the same.

Delivery: Each artwork in the edition is created upon ordering. Estimated lead time between purchase and shipment of the artwork is 3 weeks.
